AR Murugadoss signs Akshay Kumar for his next

AR Murugadoss' debut Bollywood outing Ghajini got him huge recognition in the Hindi film industry. He was showered with offers after the success of the film but the director was not in a hurry and took his time to decide his next Hindi project. Now, he is gearing up for second Bollywood film with Akshay Kumar in the lead.

AR Murugadoss has reportedly signed Akshay Kumar for his next Bollywood venture. There were reports that the director is remaking his debut Tamil film Dheena. But the director has clarified that the movie is not a remake of his earlier movie and he is writing a fresh screenplay for the film. He adds that the movie an out and out action flick with a love story at the backdrop.

Talking about the female lead of the film, AR Murugadoss has said that he is yet to finalize the actress. But he agrees that Asin Thottumkal is in the race. The movie is produced by Vipul Shah, who is already remaking Kaakha Kaakha in Hindi.

However, AR Murugadoss is gearing up to release the audio of his upcoming Tamil movie 7 Aum Arivu, which is scheduled to release on March 28. The movie stars Surya and Shruti Hassan in the leads.
