Arun Vijay recovering after shoulder injury

Actor Arun Vijay was injured on the sets of his forthcoming Tamil movie Thadaiyara Thaakka recently. The incident happened during an action scene, where he hurt his right shoulder.

Sources say that while performing the action sequence, Arjun Vijay was hit by an iron rod on his shoulder. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was given the first aid. The actor suffered a slight shoulder dislocation and he is recuperating from it, add sources.

It is said that Arun Vijay was rehearing for the particular action shot before the rod slipped from the hands of Vamsi, who is playing the role of a baddie. A set worth Rs 45 lakhs has been erected for the action scene.

Arun Vijay, Mamta Mohandas and Rakul Preet Singh starrer movie is directed by Magizh Thirumeni. It has Thaman's music.
