Dabangg becomes Osthi in Tamil!

Silambarasan's next movie, which is the remake of Salman Khan's 2010 blockbuster Dabangg, has been titled Osthi – The Cool Cop in Tamil. The movie was formally launched today morning at the AVM pillayar kovil.

The makers of the film have invited Arbaaz Khan (Dabangg producer) as the chief guest for the function. Simbu's father T Rajender, Producers' Council Chief Rama Narayanan, RB Chowdary and the cast and crew of the film were present at Osthi muhurat.

Silambarasan will be portraying the role of a cop in Osthi, which was played by Salman Khan in Dabangg. The Tamil version of the film is directed by Dharani and has Thaman's music. Mohan Apparao and T Ramesh are jointly producing the film.
