Haniska Motwani turns gangster for Simbu

You have heard it right. Bubbly Hansika Motwani has continued her dream run in the Tamil film industry. The actress, who has been getting good roles with top Kollywood stars, has bagged yet another biggie. Well, she has been signed by Silambarasan for his much-hyped Vettai Mannan.

Vettai Mannan has an ensemble cast. It features three female leads out of which Deeksha Seth, Poonam Kaur and Hansika Motwani have been finalised for the female lead roles, says a source. The Aadakulam actress has confirmed the news but refused to spill the bean on her character in the forthcoming Tamil film.

However, sources close to the development have said that Hansika Motwani will be seen in the role of a gangster and the actress will be romancing Simbu in the movie. The actress has reportedly shed her weight for her role, add sources.

Vettai Mannan is directed by Nelson and produced by SS Chakravarthy under the banner of NIC Arts. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music for the film. It is reportedly made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and expected to hit the screens in mid 2012.
