Surya's Singam, one of the superhit Tamil movies of 2010, is being remade in Hindi. The Bollywood version of the film is taking off today in Goa and the lead stars are taking part in the first schedule.

The Hindi version of the film will be bigger than the original, including the budget, actions sequence etc. According to reports, a parking lot set has been erected in Goa for the first scene, which is said to be a action scene.

Director Rohit Shetty confirmed that the first scene will be a kidnapping scene, where Ajay Devgn chases some gangsters. He also added that the particular scene will blow up 20 cars.

It is interesting to note that Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj, who are popular in South films, have been roped in for the key roles. However, Singam was written and directed by Hari, which starred Surya and Anushka Shetty in the main lead roles.
