Rumour
mills
have
started
working
overtime
after
Rekha
and
Vidya
Balan
opted
out
of
Rajinikanth's
Rana.
The
latest
we
hear
is
that
the
makers
of
the
historical
film
have
offered
South
Indian
highest
paid
actress
Ileana
D'Cruz
to
play
one
of
the
female
leads
in
the
film.
Reports
have
claimed
that
Ileana,
who
is
approached
by
KS
Ravikumar
for
Rana,
has
agreed
to
act
opposite
Rajinikanth
in
the
film.
The
actress,
who
had
refused
to
act
in
Rajini's
earlier
film
Sultan
–
The
Warrior
for
some
reasons,
has
reportedly
agreed
to
act
without
a
second
thought.
It
is
said
that
she
will
be
doing
a
role,
which
was
offered
to
Vidya
Balan.
Meanwhile,
the
slot,
which
is
vacant
after
Rekha's
exit,
is
expected
to
be
filled
by
Hema
Malini.
However,
Deepika
Padukone
has
been
roped
in
to
play
one
of
the
female
leads
in
Rana.
