Kamal Hassan to launch Maveeran audio

Kamal Hassan is all set to launch the audio of Maaveran, a dubbed version of Telugu superhit movie Magadheera. The music will be released on April 22, 2011 in Chennai.

Earlier, Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies, who has acquired the rights of Maveeran, invited Rajinikanth to be the chief guest of the film. The actor, who agreed initially to attend the function, backed out due to unknown reasons. Later, the producer requested Kamal Hassan to unveil the music of the film.

Magadheera is period drama, which has been directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by Allu Aravind under the banner of Geetha Arts. It stars Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Aggarwal in the leads. The movie was dubbed in Malayalam as Veera – The Warrior in May 2011.

However, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi and Mani Ratnam are also attending the audio launch function.
