Katrina, Deepika, Bipasha in 'Munni' race

Top Bollywood actresses are in the race to shake their legs for the Tamil version of 'Munni badnaam...'. Katrina Kaif, whose 'Sheila ki jawani...' became a rage among masses', along with Deepika Padukone, who gave sleepless nights to youth with her item number 'Dum maaro dum...', and Bengali babe Bipasha Basu are being considered for the item number in Osthi, which is a remake of Dabangg.

Reports claim that the makers of the film are desperate to rope in a Bollywood diva for the item song. Like its original, they want to make this song a superhit. But it is not revealed whether they have approached Malaika Arora Khan, who made the song famous with her raunchy steps. The movie bosses are ready to pay Rs. 1 crore for the actress and they are demanding five-day call sheet from them.

It was earlier reported that Nayantara and Shreya Saran were approached for the special song. But later they clarified that they were not offered any number. Silambarasan starrer Osthi also features Richa Gangopadhyay, Sonu Sood, Githan Ramesh, Revathi, Saranya Mohan, Ganesh and others in the cast.
