Katrina-Sonam in the race for Dabangg remake

It seems Bollywood movie Dabangg's aura is not over yet. At least in South! Yes, it's time for its remake versions to hit the headlines. Yesterday, we reported that the makers have approached Silambarasan to act in the film. Now, the hunt has started for its female lead role.

The grapevine is abuzz with the news that the Balaji Studios bosses, who has acquired Tamil remake rights, are considering Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor for the female lead role. Though, there is no official confirmation from the movie bosses, it is being speculated that they are keen to cast one of them. Sources say that the makers of the film wants to make it a big by bringing a Bollywood face opposite Simbu.

It is said that the movie will hit the floors in May and it will be released during Diwali season. Other details about the movie are under wraps.
