Krish has opened up to a leading daily about Vaanam's feedback after its release. The director has said that he is on cloud nine, as both the audience and the critics have praised the movie. Adding to that when his name is displayed on the credits in the end, fans are expressing their happiness by blowing whistles and clapping their hands.

Meanwhile, Krish has hinted about his Bollywood entry. The director has said that he will be remaking the film in Bollywood. But he has not revealed any detail regarding the cast and crew of the project.
