to
the

filmmaker

claimed
that
the
Hindi
film
is
a
carbon
copy
of
his
Naan
Avanillai
series.
According
to
the
director,
the
80%
of
Ladies
vs
Ricky
Bahl
story
resembles
Naan
Avanillai
1
and
2,
which
are
remakes
of
yesteryear
classics
of
the
same
name
directed
by
K
Balachander.
While
the
Tamil
version
had
five
female
leads,
the
Hindi
version
features
four
actresses.
The
story
is
about
a
conman,
who
swindles
three
girls
for
money
and
their
revenge
against
him.
He
further
claims
that
he
is
shocked
by
this
development,
as
Ladies
vs
Ricky
Bahl
is
made
on
the
prestigious
banner,
Yash
Raj
Films.
Now,
he
is
gearing
up
for
a
legal
battle
against
the
movie
bosses
for
their
unethical
work.
