Maatraan unit off to Russia

Surya and the unit of Maatraan have left to Russia for the shooting of the forthcoming Tamil movie. The actor, who is busy with his next movie 7aam Arivu, will be filming some key scenes and songs in Moscow, says a report.

Sources say that Surya along with Maatraan unit flew to Russia last Thursday (September 29). It is said to be a three-week schedule, where the shooting will be held in and around Moscow. The Ghajini star will be returning to India in the third week of September, as he has to take part in the promotional activity of his 7aam Arivu.

It is said that the locations of Russia play a key role in Maatraan. KV Anand has carefully chosen some of the beautiful locales to fit the storyline, says a source.

Maatraan features Kajal Aggarwal and Sachin Khedekar in the important roles. It is produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram on the banner AGS Entertainment. The movie is expected to hit the screens next summer.
