Miscreants ransack Shankar's Nanban sets

Chaos prevailed on Shankar's Nanban sets, as a group of miscreants ransacked the shooting spot. They went on a rampage after the unit members told them to vacate the place for shooting.

Sources say that the incident happened during the shooting of Nanban at a private college on the outskirts of Chennai. A group of local residents were present on the sets before the commencement of the filming and interacted with the actors and the director. But when they were told to vacate the place to resume the shoots, the miscreants got irritated and had heated verbal exchange with the unit members.

They reportedly broke essential equipments of filming before the cops took control of the situation. Later, the filming was finished with police protection. Vijay, Ileana D'Cruz, Jeeva and Srikanth starrer movie is in the third schedule of the shooting.
