Nanban to have original tunes

Shankar's Nanban, which is a remake of Bollywood movie 3 Idiots, will have original tunes in the film. The movie bosses are not retaining any song from Aamir Khan starrer film.

Harris Jayaraj confirmed the news and tweeted, “We are not retaining any of the tracks from Hindi for the film Nanban. All songs will be freshly tuned...". As of now, the music director has completed scoring three tunes for the film and he is busy with the fourth song.

Earlier, it was reported that the movie bosses are planning to retain a few songs from 3 Idiots, including 'All is Well...l'. However, Harris Jayaraj-Shankar, who went to London to compose a few songs, changed their plan to have new tracks in the film. Nanban will have five tracks, which are all penned by Madhan Karky and Na Muthukumar.
