Parvathy Omanakuttan replaces Huma in Billa 2

The winner of Femina Miss India World 2008, Parvathy Omanakuttan has been roped in to play one of the female leads in Ajith Kumar's much-hyped Billa 2. She has replaced Huma Qureshi, who was originally signed for the key role, in the forthcoming Tamil film.

Sources say that Parvathy Omanakuttan impressed the makers of the film in the recently held audition. The choice of the Kerala beauty was unanimous, says a production house source. She will be playing Ajith Kumar's love interest in Billa 2. The actress will join the crew for the next schedule of the shooting in Goa.

Huma Qureshi, who had signed before, walked out of Billa 2 after the movie failed to take off on time. Hence, the movie bosses were forced to find another actress. She will be seen alongside Bruna Abdullah, who has an important role in the upcoming Tamil movie.

Billa 2 is a sequel to Billa, which was a remake of Bollywood movie Don. The second instalment has a fresh story, which is written and directed by Chakri Toleti.
