Piracy badly hits Mankatha at Box Office

Mankatha has been badly affected by piracy. The roaring collection at the Box Office of the recently released Tamil film has been hit by torrent websites, which allowed the users to download the movie from internet.

Director Venkat Prabhu says that they have found close to 1,300 websites, which updated the pirated copies of the movie on its sites. He says that some sites carried crystal clear prints of Mankatha, which has shocked him. Meanwhile, the movie bosses have seeked the help of cyber crime department and have lodged a formal complaint against those websites.

Despite hitting badly by piracy, Mankatha has continued to rock at the Box office. The movie starring Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan and Arjun Sarja has collected approximately Rs 11 crores in five days.
