Poonam
Kaur
has
been
dreaming
to
have
a
strong
foothold
in
the
Tamil
film
industry.
She
was
hoping
that
her
recent
release
Vedi
could
be
the
movie,
which
could
change
her
fate.
But
sadly
the
makers
of
the
film
have
not
promoted
her
nor
they
have
given
her
deserved
respect
for
her
character.
This
has
irked
the
actress.
Before
Vedi
release,
Poonam
Kaur
had
pinned
high
hopes
on
her
recently
released
Tamil
film.
The
actress,
who
had
apprehensions
before
signing
the
film
as
she
was
supposed
to
repeat
the
role
what
she
did
in
Shouryam,
accepted
it
for
Prabhu
Deva.
In
fact,
he
and
Vishal
Krishna
promised
that
her
character
would
get
a
lot
of
weightage
and
they
would
promote
her
like
a
second
fiddle
in
the
film.
However,
her
dreams
were
shattered
after
they
kept
her
away
from
the
movie
promotions.
Sources
say
last
week,
the
actress,
who
landed
in
Chennai
from
Mumbai
for
Vedi
promotions,
was
disappointed
after
Prabhu
Deva
and
Vishal
Krishna
have
gone
ahead
for
the
promotional
activities
without
including
her.
Adding
to
that
the
film
posters
did
not
feature
her
photo.
