Bollywood
blockbuster
Raajneeti
is
the
latest
movie,
which
will
be
remade
in
Tamil.
UTV
Motion
Pictures
is
planning
to
remake
the
film
in
Kollywood
with
Aarya,
Madhavan,
Prakash
Raj,
Sathyaraj
and
Bharath
in
the
leads.
If
reports
are
to
be
believed,
Aarya
will
be
seen
in
the
role
of
Samar
Pratap,
which
was
played
by
Ranbir
Kapoor
in
the
original
and
Madhavan
will
be
seen
enacting
the
character
donned
by
Arjun
Rampal
in
Raajneeti.
But
the
details
of
the
characters
played
by
Prakash
Raj,
Sathyaraj
and
Bharath
are
yet
to
be
revealed.
The
production
house
is
reportedly
in
talks
with
Lingusamy.
The
filmmaker's
latest
movie
Vettai
is
being
produced
by
UTV
Motion
Pictures
and
he
has
signed
three-film
deal.
Given
the
condition,
there
are
strong
buzz
that
the
director
might
take
up
the
project.
There
were
reports
that
the
movie
bosses
were
planning
to
approach
Shankar.
But
later
changed
their
plans,
as
the
director,
who
is
making
his
first
ever
remake,
Nanban,
might
not
do
another
remake
film
in
succession.
Raajneeti
talks
of
warring
cousins,
dynastic
rule
and
electoral
politics
of
the
Hindi
heartland,
besides
the
vicious
and
horrifying
games
some
people
play
to
attain
power.
The
Tamil
version
of
the
film
will
be
made
keeping
the
tastes
of
the
native
audience
in
mind.
