Rajinikanth brightens up the Sun

Seeing the headline, you might think that the article would be yet another light-hearted joke on Rajinikanth. Well, if you think so, then you are wrong! We are talking about the superstar's Endhiran, which has increased the revenue of the Sun TV Network by 30%.

According to Economic Times, Sun TV Network ended the last quarter (December 2010 ) with an impressive 50% growth by profiting 225.5 crore for the period. The movie produced by Sun TV's Kalanidhi Maran was made with the budget of 120 crores and it has grossed 375 crores till date

Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer film was released on October 01,2010 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The movie went on to break 3 Idiots record at the box-office by collecting Rs. 117 crore in first week.
