Rajinikanth calls Shankar!

Superstar Rajinikanth, who is recouping in Singapore, has called director Shankar recently. The filmmaker, who was not sure of the caller, was surprised to see that it was the actor's call from Singapore.

Shankar has revealed the news on his website. He posted, “When we were shooting at Bharath Engineering College last week, I got a call from Singapore. I thought it must be some relatives or fans. Then, I thought may be Rajini sir, yes… It was him only,"

He further adds, “ I was surprised and happy to hear from him… Ubhayakusalobhari!!! (UBKS)… etc . He was sounding like before… Brisk and energetic… He told he will be back after 45 days taking a complete rest."

Rajinikanth and Shankar have worked together in blockbuster hits like Sivaji and Endhiran. However, the director is currently busy with his upcoming Tamil film Nanban, which is a remake of 3 Idiots. The movie features Vijay, Srikanth, Jeeva, Ileana D'Cruz in the lead roles.
