Rana,

his

will
start
the
shooting
from
October
3.
The
actor,
who
has
been
advised
to
be
in
rest
by
the
doctors,
seems
to
have
confirmed
director
KS
Ravikumar
that
he
will
be
available
for
the
filming
from
the
first
week
of
October.
Sources
have
confirmed
that
Rajinikanth
has
recently
told
the
makers
of
the
film
that
he
is
on
the
path
to
recovery
and
he
is
ready
to
join
the
shoots
in
October.
So,
the
director
has
decided
to
start
the
shooting
on
October
3
at
the
Ramoji
Film
City
in
Hyderabad.
It
is
said
that
the
movie
bosses
does
not
want
to
delay
further
and
have
planned
to
finish
the
shooting
in
single
100-day
schedule.
Art
director
Rajeevan
is
erecting
a
special
set
for
Rana
at
the
Ramoji
Film
City.
The
movie,
which
was
launched
on
April
29,
was
stopped
after
Rajinikanth
fell
ill
on
the
same
day.
Rana
is
a
live
action
magnum
opus
with
Rajinikanth
playing
a
triple
role
and
will
be
released
in
Tamil,
Hindi
and
Telugu.
Along
with
Rajini,
the
film
stars
Deepika
Padukone,
and
Sonu
Sood
in
the
leads.
The
music
for
the
film
is
being
scored
by
A
R
Rahman,
director
of
photography
will
be
Ratnavelu
and
editing
would
be
done
by
Antony.
The
technical
director
is
Soundarya
Rajnikanth,
of
Ocher
Visual
effects
UK,
a
subsidiary
of
Ocher
Studios
Pvt
Limited,
and
Charles
Darby
of
Eyeqube
Studios,
renowned
visual
effects
luminary
and
an
Emmy
award
winner,
is
the
creative
and
special
effects
director
on
the
film.
The
film
is
scheduled
to
release
in
FY
2012.
Eros
International
along
with
NextGen
Films,
will
produce
the
film
through
Rana
Production
Ltd.,
UK.
