Rajinikanth asks Karunanidhi to focus on health

Tamil actor Rajinikanth has advised DMK chief M Karunanidhi to focus on his health and nothing else. The South Indian Superstar gave an advice to Karuna just a day after he congratulated Chief Minister Jayalalitha for saving Tamil Nadu by making her party win the recent assembly polls. Meanwhile, Karuna expressed happiness at the improvement of his health and hoped for his early return to Chennai.

Rajinikanth had a telephonic conversation with Karunanidhi after he was discharged from the hospital in Singapore. “You have faced so many ups and downs in life. It is important that you take care of your health. You should not consider anything (else) big," the PTI quotes Rajini's advice to Karuna.

However, the DMK suffered a humiliating defeat in the hands of AIADMK-led front in the April 13 assembly polls and the party pushed to a third spot in the state Assembly. In his first interaction with Jayalalitha after he was discharged, Rajinikanth had said that the state had been saved following her massive mandate.
