Rajinikanth's
upcoming
Tamil
movie
Rana
might
have
been
temporarily
shelved,
but
it
has
not
stopped
the
movie
from
being
in
the
news.
The
latest
speculation,
which
is
doing
rounds
in
Kollywood,
is
that
the
superstar
received
Rs.
24
crores
as
a
first
instalment
of
his
remuneration.
The
Endhiran,
who
is
the
second
highest
paid
actor
in
South
Asia
after
Jackie
Chan,
has
also
major
shares
in
the
film,
as
the
movie
is
co-produced
by
his
daughter
Soundarya
Rajinikanth.
The
movie
is
said
to
be
made
with
a
budget
of
Rs.
100
crores
and
the
actor
is
reportedly
getting
Rs.
40
crores
alone
as
a
remuneration
other
than
a
share
in
the
profit,
says
a
report.
Meanwhile,
Rajinikanth,
who
left
India
to
Singapore
for
further
treatment
is
recovering
well.
His
son-in-law
has
recently
said
that
the
actor
would
return
to
India
in
a
few
weeks.
However,
the
project
might
delay
for
another
six
months,
as
the
doctors
have
advised
him
to
be
in
bed
rest.
