Rajinikanth receives flower bouquet from Sonia Gandhi

UPA chairperson and AICC president Sonia Gandhi has sent a flower bouquet to superstar Rajinikanth on Thursday. She also wished the actor speedy recovery.

Congress spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan said that Sonia Gandhi wished Rajinikanth and enquired about his health. The superstar's family thanked her for the gesture and replied that the actor is progressing well, she added.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has spoken to Latha Rajinikanth over phone regarding his health and wished him for his speedy recovery. However, Rajinikanth was put on dialysis and shifted to the ICU on Wednesday. His condition is stable and he is responding to the treatment well.
