Rajinikanth upcoming multilingual movie Rana will see the superstar in triple role. The movie directed by KS Ravi Kumar is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The actor had earlier played three roles in blockbuster Moondru Mugam, which was subsequently made in Hindi as John Johny Janardan. According to makers of the film, his portrayal in this film will be completely different from his earlier ventures. The movie is said to be a live-action entertainer.
Anushka Shetty and Deepika Padukone are being offered for the female leads in the film. Soucres say that former has given the nod to act in the film and the latter is yet to sign the project. AR Rahman will be scoring the music, Ratnavelu is the cinematographer and noted Hollywood techinician Charles Darby will be the visual effects advisor.
Rana is jointly produced by Eros International and Soundarya Rajinikanth's Ocher Studios Private Limited. The movie will hit the floors in March.
