KS
Ravikumar
has
opened
up
on
his
forthcoming
mega-budget
film
Rana
by
confirming
that
the
movie
has
not
been
shelved.
The
rumours
related
to
the
film
being
dropped
started
doing
rounds
after
superstar
Rajinikanth
was
hospitalized
due
to
gastrointestinal
issues.
The
director,
who
was
off
to
abroad
to
finalize
the
locations,
has
clarified
that
Rana
is
still
very
much
on.
He
has
said
that
Rajinikanth's
dates
are
available
for
the
shooting
in
the
second
week
of
July.
Thus,
the
actor's
illness
has
not
affected
the
movie
and
it
will
be
executed
as
per
the
earlier
plans,
says
a
source.
He
further
adds
that
he
had
been
to
Thailand
and
soon
he
will
be
going
to
London
to
plan
the
shooting
schedules.
Meanwhile,
reports
say
that
the
director
has
already
shot
a
song
on
Deepika
Padukone,
as
he
was
not
keen
to
waste
her
committed
dates.
