Salman Khan's Kaavalan remake takes off

Vijay and Asin Thottumkal starrer movie Kaavalan, a remake of Malayalam movie Bodyguard, is now being remade in Hindi. Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor are playing the lead roles in the film, which is titled My Love Story.

The shooting of the Hindi version was started last Monday (January 16), just two days after the release of Kaavalan, in Pune. Siddique, who directed both Malayalam and Hindi versions, is directing the Hindi version of the film.

Bodyguard, the original version, starred Dileep and Nayantara in the lead roles. The movie was an instant hit in Malayalam film industry. The Tamil version, hich was released last week, has received mixed responses from the audience and critics.

My Love Story is produced by Atul Agnihotri and distributed by Reel Life Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The movie will release during Eid festival.
