Silambarasan, who has made it a practice to sing in his films, has decided to lend his voice for the songs in his next movie Osthi, a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg. This time, the actor is all set to croon two songs, including a mass number.

Sources have confirmed that Simbu will be singing to tracks in Osthi. The actor will team up with Shreya Ghoshal for a duet number and other one is possibly an item number, which is similar to 'Munni badnaam...'. However, music director Thaman has refused to confirm, whether the Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa star will vocalize the Tamil version of the famous Bollywood song.

Talking about the audio, the music director claims that he is planning to release a single like Simbu's earlier film Vaanam. It will be released shortly, confirms Thaman. He further clarified the rumours, which claimed that he would retain the original tune of 'Munni badnaam...' for Osthi, by saying that he is composing a fresh tune keeping the Tamil audience taste in mind.

Meanwhile, the makers of Osthi are planning to invite Salman Khan for the audio launch function of the forthcoming Tamil film.
