Studio Green surprisingly drops Ajith's Mangaatha

Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green, which acquired the theatrical and satellite rights of Ajith Kumar's Mangaatha, has surprisingly dropped the film. Now, Sun Pictures, which did not have any big releases in the recent past, is releasing the film on August 31.

Dhayanidhi Alagiri tweeted, “Mangaatha is not releasing under Studio Green banner," But on the today's newspapers ads, where it shows that the production house is distributing the upcoming Tamil film, he clarifies, “Mangaatha ads have come under Studio Green banner today... We couldn't remove it before of the cut off time in the papers."

On the other end, Gnanavel Raja says that he dropped Mangaatha due to some reasons. But refused to reveal why he opted out of the project.

However, Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja starrer Mangaatha has been be censored yesterday. The movie directed by Venkat Prabhu has passed the test with U/A certificate.
