Actress Sujatha dies at 58

Popular South Indian actress Sujatha passed away today morning after prolonged illness. She breathed her last at her residence in Chennai.

Sujatha was born on 10th December 1952 in Sri Lanka. She entered the film industry with Tabasvini. Since then, she acted in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam languages. The actress acted with most of the superstars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Sivaji Ganeshan etc.

In her three decades journey, Sujatha has received various awards, including prestigious Kalai Mamani Award from the state Government.
