Surya's Maatran looking for new face

Surya's next film Maatraan is all set to introduce a new face to the Tamil film industry. Cinematographer-turned-director KV Anand is in the hunt for the fresh talent for the female lead role in the film.

Recently, there were reports that Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha was roped in for Maatraan. But the director has now clarified that they are yet to finalize the lead actress and they have not approached any Bollywood actress. He also added that the story requires a young face and they are still looking for it.

Maatran is produced by Kalpathi S Agoram on the banner AGS Entertainment. It is written by KV Anand and Subha. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music and it will be simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
