Surya set to start Maatraan

Surya is finally ready to start his muck-talked Maatraan. The actor, who had initial photoshoots of the film in February, has been busy with his forthcoming movie 7 Aum Arivu. Later, he was occupied with his brother Karthi's marriage, which made him to delay the project. Now that the wedding celebrations are over, the actor has geared up to kick-start the film, which is reportedly hitting the floors coming Monday.

The Ghajini star is all set to astonish his fans with his five new avatar in Maatraan. Surya has hit the gym to shed his weight, as he will be doing a younger character in the movie. Director KV Anand has hired a Bollyood-based costume designer to give him a complete different looks and they have reportedly finalized a few for the film.

Kajal Aggarwal is pairing Surya in Maatraan, which is produced by AGS Entertainment. It also features Prakash Raj and Vivek in the key roles. The story of the film is jointly penned by director KV Anand and his trusted writer Subha. Harris Jayaraj is composing the film and he is ready with two songs.
