Suseendran directing Vikram in Raja Pattai

Offbeat film director Suseendran, who has done movies like Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Naan Magaan Alla and Azhagar Samiyin Kudirai, is now teaming up actor Vikram. The combo's first movie titled Raja Pattai is a commercial film. Suseendran wants to prove that he can also make an entertaining and commercial film.

The movie Raja Pattai was launched on Monday. Talking about it, Suseendran said that actress Deeksha Seth would play the female lead as an IT professional, but he did not reveal anything about Vikram's role. He added that there would be a good scope for comedy and action and he is excited about working with Vikram in the movie.

National award winner Thambi Ramaiah, actor Arul Doss and director K Viswanath are in the supporting roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music for Yuga Bharathi's lyrics. Seenu Vasan has written the story, while Bhaskar Sakthi penned the dialogues for the movie Raja Pattai, which will start rolling within a few days.
