Trisha
Krishnan
seems
to
have
become
the
first
choice
for
remake
films.
After
starring
in
Telugu
version
of
Bollywood
movie
Love
Aaj
Kal,
the
actress
has
signed
Malayalam
blockbuster
Bodyguard's
Telugu
version
and
now
she
has
been
offered
to
act
in
Hindi
movie
Tanu
Weds
Manu
Tamil
remake.
She
herself
has
confirmed
the
news
and
has
said
that
she
loves
to
act
in
the
film.
Speaking
to
a
leading
daily,
Trisha
has
said
that
Madhavan
has
spoken
to
her
about
the
project.
But
nothing
has
been
finalized
yet.
The
actress
has
told
the
actor
that
she
loves
to
play
Tanuja
Trivedi's
character,
which
was
played
by
Kangana
Ranaut
in
the
original.
She
further
adds
that
the
project
might
happen
if
Madhavan
remakes
it
in
Tamil.
But
not
in
the
near
future,
as
they
are
busy
with
their
own
projects.
However,
Tanu
Weds
Manu
is
a
romantic-comedy
film
written
by
Himanshu
Sharma
and
directed
by
Anand
L
Rai.
The
story
of
Madhavan
and
Kangana
Ranaut
starrer
film
is
about
an
NRI,
who
comes
to
India
in
search
of
a
suitable
life
partner,
and
falls
in
love
with
a
girl,
who
is
dead
against
an
arranged
marriage.
