Venkat Prabhu's ready for 3D

By Ramchander

Venkat Prabhu has been working round the clock for Mangaatha ever since he signed Ajith Kumar's 50th film. Now that the upcoming Tamil is nearing completion, he is gearing up for his next. As we reported earlier, the director's next flick is likely to be Neradi Olibarappu, which will be made in 3D.

When the director was quizzed about his next project, Venkat Prabhu claims that he has not made his mind on his next film. He has three scripts in hand and he can pick any story, which he has written. However, all the tales can be made in 3D format, feels the director.

Talking about proposed project Neradi Olibarappu, he says that the movie was supposed to be his debut venture. But he dropped the plans, when SPB Charan suggested him to do a commercial entertainer rather than offbeat film.

Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu is fully busy with the last-minute works of Mangaatha, which will hit the screens on August 31. It features Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan and Arjun Sarja in the leads.
