Vidya Balan, Asin being considered for Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan

The hunt for the female leads for Rajinikanth"s Kochadaiyaan continues, as the makers of the film are considering top B-town babes to pair up with the superstar. We hear that the makers of the upcoming movie are planning to approach The Dirty Picture actress Vidya Balan and Ghajini gal Asin Thottumkal.

Rumour mills has it that Vidya Balan and Asin are also in the race to play one of the female leads in Kochadaiyaan. It may be recalled that the former was approached for Rana but things did not work out due to various reasons. Along with the above-mentioned actresses, Anushka Shetty has also been approached to team up with Rajinikanth in the multilingual film.

However, actress Sneha has been signed to play Rajinikanth"s sister in Kochadaiyaan. As far as the technical department is concerned, Oscar Award winner AR Rahman and cinematographer Rajiv Menon have been signed.

Kochadaiyaan is loosely inspired by Pandya king, Kochadaiyan Rana Dheeran. The movie directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth is being made by the 'motion capturing' technique. It is produced by Eros International & Media One and expected to hit the screens in August 2012.
