Vijay battles with a host of baddies in Velayudham

Vijay's Velayudham, which is an out and out action movie, will be a treat to his fans. It is because the actor, who is playing the role of a vigilante, is not facing one baddie but a host of villains in the forthcoming Tamil film.

Sources say that Vijay will be seen battling out against actors like Sayaji Shinde, Vineet Kumar and Abhimanyu Singh of Rakhta Charitra fame. “They will give him a tough time in the film. How he faces their challenges and how he turns nightmare to them are the entertaining part of the story," add a source.

The story of the film is about an ordinary milkman, who takes laws into his own hands to eradicate the corruption. Vijay is playing the role of the vigilante and has paired up with Genelia D'Souza, who will be seen in the role of a journalist and Hansika Motwani has done the character of a village belle.

Velayduham produced by Venu Ravichandran is made with the budget of Rs 45 crore and it is directed by Jayam Raja.
