Stage is set for Vijay's birthday

Vijay, who is turning 37 tomorrow, will have a grand birthday this year. The success of Kaavalan and starting his political career on a good note are the reasons behind it. To make it a memorable occasion, the fans of the actor have decided to celebrate it throughout Tamil Nadu in a grand manner.

The members of Makkal Iyakkam, the official fans' association of Vijay, has urged his fans to donate blood on the actor's birthday. It is said that around 30,000 people will participate in the blood donation camp. The organisation will also provide dhotis, sarees and notebooks for the needy people all across the state.

Reports say that the fans' association has also organized a grand function in Chennai. Many politicians from the ruling party and his close friends from the film industry are attending the event. Meanwhile, Vijay is gearing up for his next release Velayudham, which is directed by Jayam Ravi.
