Ilayathalapathy Vijay turned a year old yesterday and marked the occasion in his usual way by doing charity for the needy. This time, the actor has extended his hand by gifting gold ring for the newborns at the government hospital in Egmore, where the actor was born.
The Kaavalan actor with his wife Sangeetha visited the hospital on Wednesday and presented gold rings for the infants, which were born yesterday at the hospital. He then moved to a hospital in Kodambakkam and gifted the same to the newborns, claims a report.
Later, Vijay attended a function organized by his fans association at the Shobha Marriage Hall in Saligramam. He gifted home appliances and other essentials for the poor and donated books, pens for the needy children at the occasion.
Meanwhile, the members of Makkal Iyakkam, the official fans association of Vijay, conducted blood donation camps in various part of Tamil Nadu. It was earlier reported that close to 30,000 people would participate in the event.
