Ilayathalapathy
Vjay's
51st
movie
Kaavalan
has
got
clean
chit
from
the
Censor
Board
yesterday.
The
board
has
awarded
clean
'U'
certificate
for
the
movie
with
no
cuts.
According
to
sources,
after
watching
the
movie,
members
of
the
Board
praised
the
makers
of
the
film
for
making
family-oriented
romantic
film.
Thus,
paving
the
way
for
the
movie
release
on
January
14.
But
the
dispute
between
Vijay
and
Tamil
Nadu
Theatre
Owners'
Association
(TNTOA)
is
the
cause
of
worry
for
the
audience.
Fans
are
not
sure,
whether
the
movie
will
be
released
in
their
nearby
screens,
as
it
has
not
got
the
required
number
of
theatres.
Producer
Aascar
Ravichandran
has
reportedly
convinced
the
theatre
owners
in
South
Tamil
Nadu.
He
is
also
in
talks
with
other
regional
exhibitors.
As
of
now,
he
has
managed
to
get
400
theatres,
says
a
source.
However,
the
Vijay-Asin
Thottumkal
starrer
Kaavalan
negative
prints
are
ready
and
the
movie
bosses
are
said
to
be
dispatching
abroad
by
Sunday
evening.
