Vijay's Nanban for Pongal, announces Shankar

The much-hyped Vijay's Nanban has completed the shooting recently. The movie, which was delayed in the early stages due to casting issues, took eight months to wrap up the filming.

Shankar in his usual style, shared the news with his fans on his official website. He wrote, “Nanban shooting 100% completed. Since Velayudham is releasing for Diwali, Nanban will be for Pongal. And the audio will start rocking your ears from December."

Nanban is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots, which starred Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor in the leads. In the Tamil version, Vijay, Srikanth, Jeeva and Ileana D'Cruz are enacting the respective roles.
