The
budget
of
Vijay's
forthcoming
movie
Velayudham
is
increasing
with
every
stage
of
its
filming.
The
movie,
which
was
planned
with
Rs.
35
crore,
has
already
crossed
the
limit
and
has
reached
close
to
Rs.
41
crore.
Sources
say
that
Jayam
Ravi
directorial
Velayudham
has
surpassed
the
planned
budget
and
is
expected
to
reach
around
Rs.46-48
crore,
which
means
the
movie
will
be
the
biggest
ever
film
of
Vijay
till
date.
The
graphic
works,
which
are
in
progress,
will
also
being
made
in
world-class
standards,
claim
sources.
It
further
adds
that
the
makers
of
the
film
have
not
compromised
on
aspect
of
the
film.
For
the
title
song
of
Velayudham,
producer
Aascar
Ravichandran
spent
Rs.1.25
crores.
The
high-action
festival
kutthu
number
was
shot
with
6,000
folk
and
junior
artistes
and
dancers
at
Thirumurty
Dam
near
Udumalpet.
Hollywood
stunt
director
Tom
Delmar
choreographed
action
sequences
of
Velayudham
have
cost
more
than
10
crores
and
the
makers
of
the
film
have
shelled
out
Rs.
2
crore
for
the
climax
scene
alone.
However,
the
movie
featuring
Vijay,
Genelia
D'Souza
and
Hansika
Motwani
is
expected
to
release
in
August.
