150 cars to escort Vijay to Velayudham audio launch

Vijay's Velayudham audio launch would probably become the biggest ever music release of his career. To make the event a talk of the town, the makers of the film are planning to unveil the audio in a grand manner in Madurai on August 28 by giving the Kaavalan's star's entry to the venue in an impressive style.

Sources say that Vijay will get a grand welcome in Madurai. The actor will be escorted by 150 cars from the Madurai Airport. He will take part in a rally before entering to the venue in a stylish way. It further adds that the movie bosses are making sure that the banners and large cutouts of the actor will be raised throughout the city.

The mega-event will also feature live performances of singers, who have crooned songs in Velayudham, and some mind-blowing dance shows. Vijay, Genelia D'Souza, Hansika Motwani, SA Chandrasekhar, Aascar Ravichandran and other dignitaries are attending the audio launch function. Sony Music, which has acquired the music rights, is also planning open a few music outlets outside the venue for the fans convenience.

Vijay, Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani starrer Velayudham is expected to hit the screens in September first week. It is directed by Jayam Raja and produced by Aascar Ravichandran.
