Vikram’s Rajapattai out of trouble

By Ramchander

Vikram"s Rajapattai, which was in troubled waters, has been acquired by PVP Cinemas. The production house has taken over the film after the original producers of the film backed out to complete the project.

Reports say that Rajapattai shooting is going on in a rocket speed with the co-operation of the new production house bosses. The makers of the film want to finish it soon and they are planning to release the out and out action movie in December. The upcoming Tamil movie, which is being made with the budget of Rs 40 crore, has completed the major part of the shooting.

Rajapatti was originally produced by Prathish and Santhosh. They decided to shelve the project when the AP cops, on charges of threatening to kill a film financier, arrested their father Singanamala Ramesh.

Adding to that, his link with Bhanu, the alleged killer of Maddelacheruvu Suri (the character played by Surya in Rakta Charitra), was turning out to be a nightmare for the Telugu producer. However, Susindran and Vikram were not ready with their idea and told them to find another producer, who could complete the project. As a result, PVP Cinema came into the picture.

Rajapattai also features Vikram, Deeksha Seth and Mithra Kurian.
