Aamir Khan to remake Abhiyum Naanum?

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who had starred in the remake of AR Murugadoss' Ghajini, is reportedly remaking a Tamil film again. But this time the Perfectionist is not making a mass-masala film rather a successful family-oriented film. Well, the Hindi superstar will be seen in the remake of Prakash Raj's Abhiyum Naanum.

If the buzz in the industry is to be believed, Aamir Khan has given a green signal for the project. Prakash Raj, who had produced and acted in the original version, will be directing the remake film. Boney Kapoor has come forward to produce the Hindi version of Abhiyum Naanum. Other details about the forthcoming movie are yet to be revealed.

Abhiyum Naanum was written and directed by Radha Mohan. It starred Prakash Raj and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles. It was dubbed in Telugu as Aakasamantha and remade in Kannada as Naanu Nanna Kanasu, which are all produced by Prakash Raj himself. The story of the film is about a father-daughter bond.
