now.

that
the
actress
could
return
with
superstar
Rajinikanth's
magnum
opus
Kochadaiyaan
by
doing
a
cameo.

there

other
speculations
on
her
comeback
movie.
Now,
the
latest
buzz
was
that
the
actress,
who
had
worked
with
Mani
Ratnam
in
quite
a
few
movies,
will
be
donning
grease
paint
in
Mani's
fim.
But
the
director's
wife
Suhasini
has
denied
the
reports.
The
latest
reports
said
that
Mani
Ratnam
had
approached
Aishwarya
Rai
Bachchan
for
the
screen-adaptation
of
English
author
Daphne
Du
Maurier's
'Rebecca'.
It
was
also
said
that
the
actress
would
be
enacting
the
role
of
Mrs
de
Winter
in
the
first
movie
after
the
birth
of
Aishwarya's
baby
Aaradhya.
However,
Suhasini
has
denied
it
and
said
that
the
rumours
are
not
true.
According
to
her,
the
director
is
completely
busy
with
his
next
movie
Kadal
starring
Gautham
Karthik
and
Thulasi.
It
would
take
another
eight
months
for
Mani
Ratnam
to
complete
Kadal
and
it
is
only
after
the
completion
of
this
project,
Mani
Ratnam
would
plan
his
next
movie,
claims
Suhasini.
It
may
be
recalled
that
Aishwarya
was
introduced
to
films
by
Mani
Ratnam
in
the
Tamil
movie,
Iruvar.
Since
then,
they
have
worked
in
movies
like
Guru
in
the
year
2007
and
Raavanan
in
2010.
