Ajith
Kumar's
Billa
2
has
bagged
‘A'
certificate
from
the
Regional
Censor
Board.
The
movie,
which
went
to
censor
yesterday
(June
14),
has
underwent
several
cuts
in
spite
of
getting
praised
from
the
board
officials
for
the
making
and
now
it
is
ready
to
clash
with
Karthi's
Saguni.
Director
Chakri
Toleti
announced
the
news
on
social
networking
site
Twitter.
He
wrote,
"Billa
2
has
been
censored
"A" with
no
major
cuts."
But
Sunir
Kheterpal,
one
of
the
producers,
was
not
happy
with
the
board's
decision
on
objecting
several
scenes.
He
tweeted,
"Billa
2
censor
certification
process
not
over
yet,
will
not
compromise
on
film
cuts.
Next
steps
only
after
getting
certificate
tomorrow."
However,
the
makers
of
the
film
are
planning
to
release
the
movie
on
June
21
worldwide.
The
publicity
and
promotions
of
Billa
2
will
kick-start
soon.
Billa
2
is
helmed
by
Chakri
Toleti
and
it
features
Parvathy
Omanakuttan
and
Bruna
Abdullah
in
the
female
lead
roles.
It
is
a
prequel
to
Billa,
which
was
directed
by
Vishnuvardhan.
