Ajith
Kumar's
Billa
2
might
have
not
made
the
expected
business
at
the
Box
Office
but
it
has
set
a
record
at
Malaysian
Box
Office.
The
movie,
which
was
released
on
July
13,
has
done
wonderful
business,
thereby
reaching
the
number
one
position
of
being
the
highest
ever
grosser
Tamil
movie
of
the
year
in
Malaysia.
If
the
figures,
which
are
doing
rounds
on
internet,
are
to
be
believed,
Billa
2
has
collected
more
than
Rs
5
crore
in
Malaysia.
The
movie
was
released
in
20
screens
and
it
collected
record-breaking
Rs
61.20
lakhs
in
the
opening
weekend.
Whereas,
Vijay
starrer
Nanban
had
raked
in
Rs
4.83
crore
at
the
Malaysian
Box
Office
and
had
collected
Rs
60
crore
plus
in
the
first
weekend.
Dhanush's
3
is
in
third
position
by
collecting
Rs
2.58
crore.
Meanwhile,
Billa
2,
which
also
features
Parvathy
Omanakuttan
and
Bruna
Abdullah
in
the
leads,
has
made
Rs
92.37
lakhs
in
the
UK
Box
Office
and
it
has
earned
Rs
73.13
lakhs
in
the
US
Box
Office.
However,
the
business
in
Tamil
Nadu
is
not
up
to
the
mark.
