Ajith's Billa 2 surpasses Vijay's Nanban collections

Ajith Kumar's Billa 2 might have not made the expected business at the Box Office but it has set a record at Malaysian Box Office. The movie, which was released on July 13, has done wonderful business, thereby reaching the number one position of being the highest ever grosser Tamil movie of the year in Malaysia.

If the figures, which are doing rounds on internet, are to be believed, Billa 2 has collected more than Rs 5 crore in Malaysia. The movie was released in 20 screens and it collected record-breaking Rs 61.20 lakhs in the opening weekend. Whereas, Vijay starrer Nanban had raked in Rs 4.83 crore at the Malaysian Box Office and had collected Rs 60 crore plus in the first weekend.

Dhanush's 3 is in third position by collecting Rs 2.58 crore. Meanwhile, Billa 2, which also features Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah in the leads, has made Rs 92.37 lakhs in the UK Box Office and it has earned Rs 73.13 lakhs in the US Box Office. However, the business in Tamil Nadu is not up to the mark.
