Ajith Star Power: Sridevi's English Vinglish releasing big in TN

Ajith Kumar's star power is working big time again. Well, yesteryear actress Sridevi's English Vinglish (Aangilam Vaangilam in Tamil), is releasing in a good number of screens in Tamil Nadu.

Yes, English Vinglish along with its Tamil version is reportedly releasing in around 170 screens in Tamil Nadu. The buzz says that the Ajith Kumar factor has increased the screen numbers and it is helping the movie to get a good opening in the state.

As of now, 130 screens have been confirmed and the makers of English Vinglish are expecting to reach 170 screen before the release. It is said that the trailer and posters of the movie featuring Sridevi and Thala have made the audience wait for the movie on their toes.

Adding to that Sridevi, who started her career as a South Indian actress, has a good fan following in Tamil Nadu. This has also made the distributors to have a big release in the state.

However, Ajith Kumar has done a cameo in Aangilam Vaangilam without even charging a single penny. He is playing one of the influential characters in Sridevi's life in the forthcoming movie.
