approached
Rajinikanth
for
the
Tamil
version.
If
reports
are
to
be
believed,
Rajinikanth
has
been
roped
in
to
play
the
role
of
Lord
Krishna,
which
is
reprised
by
Akshay
Kumar
in
the
original
version.
The
superstar
has
reportedly
given
his
nod
to
star
in
the
movie.
The
rights
of
the
Tamil
version
has
been
acquired
by
Krishna
Prasad
and
it
is
co-produced
by
Akki
himself.
Oh
My
God
also

Paresh
Rawal
and
Mithun
Chakraborty
in
the
lead
roles.
It
is
inspired
by
a
Gujarati
stage
play
'Kanji
Virrudh
Kanji'
and
it
is
also
an
official
remake
of
Hollywood
movie
Bruce
Almighty,
which
starred
Jim
Carrey,
Morgan
Freeman
and
Jennifer
Aniston
in
the
lead
roles.
